I’m an author, scriptwriter and writing tutor living in the Midlands.
My first book, ‘The Master of secrets’ was nominated for the Carnegie award; since then I’ve written books for children of all ages - two have been optioned for film and TV.
I’ve also written plays, radio scripts, film scripts and scripts for TV shows such as The Hoobs (Channel 4) and PicMe (Nickleodeon).
I was the resident writing coach on The Richard and Judy Show and one of the judges of their write a children’s short story competition(Channel 4).
As a writing tutor, I teach the Introduction to Writing Children’s Fiction course at Middlesex University; I’ve also taught writing courses for both Leicester University and the Arvon Foundation.
